Our Experience at Avalon Airshow 2019

Last week was one of the most important weeks in the Southern Hemisphere aviation calendar with the Australian International Airshow and Defence Exposition 2019 taking place in Victoria, Australia.  

  

Representatives from Wings Recruitment were very pleased to attend this aviation event along with our parent company KORR Group. 

  

Avalon Airshow Recap

The Australian International Airshow usually attracts a large number of visitors but this year, despite the sweltering conditions, the Avalon Airshow attracted an enormous crowd of over 200,000 people.

While many visitors came along to see the impressive aerial displays that took place outside the venue, a lot of work was done inside the main halls and chalets amongst industry players. Wings Recruitment and the KORR Group team were kept very busy inside at the stand showcasing our services and capabilities to those in the industry and the interested public. 

  

There were over 560 companies on the participating exhibitor list at the Avalon Airshow and as well as being a great opportunity to catch up with our industry partners, it enabled us to network with others who we had not met. As a new addition to the KORR Group, it was the perfect occasion to introduce Wings Recruitment to our connections and educate the aviation community about Wings Recruitment and our ability to source and deliver quality pilots and flight crew.

The organisers of this prestigious event did an excellent job. The Avalon Airshow was extremely well run and our team were very impressed by the turn out of both industry and the public. With plenty of leads to follow up and opportunities to explore we are looking forward to a busy year.  

  

For Wings Recruitment, the internationally renowned Avalon Airshow lived up to, and exceeded our expectations and we are already looking forward to Avalon 2021, where we are sure we will see even greater things.
